Yokozuna began in 2001 as a family business and quickly became one
 of the most popular Japanese restaurants in Edmonton.

   We are extremely proud to be celebrating our Anniversary and would
    like to thank our customers for voting us "Best Japanese
      Restaurant" in Edmonton during the 2007 Consumer Choice       Awards.

      There are two very important reasons for our success. The first        is the 20 years of experience that owner Alan Demachi brings         with him from his home in Nagawa, Japan. As a classically          trained Sushi Chef, Alan not only brings his knowledge and skill           to the table, but he also adds a piece of Japanese culture to            every dining experience. The second is our commitment to             providing high-quality ingredients in all of our dishes.
